Catholic War Veterans
The Catholic War veterans is a non-profit veterans organization dedicated to nourishing returning veterans in their love of country and their Catholic faith. We are dedicated to a program of united action to promote the wellbeing of all veterans, joining forces with other veteran service organizations whenever and wherever possible, to influence public opinion, promote good laws, and to improve the lot of the veteran, especially those in most need. The CWV offers camaraderie with other veterans and other Catholics to help sustain active duty and veteran members. An applicant for membership in the CWV must be a citizen of the United States of America, a practicing Catholic, and a former, retired, or active duty member of any of the branches of the United States Armed Forces, including their respective Reserve and National Guard components. If someone is not eligible for membership, he or she may qualify for the Auxiliary. For more information, please contact mayenkes@gmail.com.

Through the Boy Scouts, members experience a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster to achieve the BSA’s objectives of developing character, citizenship and personal fitness. It is an adventure of a lifetime. “The time you invest in your son today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow.” For more information, e-mail djv1k1ng40@gmail.com.

Girl Scouts
The Girl Scouts at Saint Joseph are both parish and community based. Girls from grades K through 12 are welcome to join one of the many troops that meet after school to explore new adventures while learning how to serve their communities. This is a parent-volunteer based program. They learn to discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others.
