Religious education/Sacramental preparation
The parish offers a program of religious education for public school children from pre-school to 8th grade which takes place at various times during the course of the week. These weekly religious education classes are designed to assist parents in passing on their Catholic faith to their children. They also prepare the students for the reception of Sacraments including First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation by our Sacramental Director, Arlene Kennedy. Our Religious Education Program serves children from 1-8 grades in public school.
Please note that the family needs to be a registered as parishioners.

Registration forms for the Religious Education Program were emailed to all families already attending the program. Please notify the office if you did not receive it. The return due date for the registration forms is July 15.
Children who received First Holy Communion need to return to continue their religious education. If you have a child entering the 1st grade in the Fall, please call 201-261-1144 or email us at religioused@sjcnj.org to register your child in our program.
All families are encouraged to come to Mass each week. Parents are also asked to review ALL PRAYERS with their children; they can be found in the back of each book.
