Boy Scout Troop #142
Troop 142 is a parish based troop for boys in grades 6 through high school. Through the Boy Scouts, members experience a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster to achieve the BSA’s objectives of developing character, citizenship and personal fitness. It is an adventure of a lifetime. “The time you invest in your son today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow.” For more information, e-mail [email protected].
Girl Scouts
The Girl Scouts at Saint Joseph are both parish and community based. Girls from grades K through 12 are welcome to join one of the many troops that meet after school to explore new adventures while learning how to serve their communities. This is a parent-volunteer based program. They learn to discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others. Cub Scout Pack #142

The Saint Joseph Cub Scout program is a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.
