We invite you to take a spiritual adoption prayer card bearing the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Please pray this short prayer daily for 9 months for one individual child at risk of being aborted. In October, we can celebrate the baby’s birth (we hope and pray!) with a visit to Saint Joseph’s by New Hope pregnancy resource center (https://www.newhopeprc.org/).

JANUARY – CONCEPTION
Here I am! At the moment of conception, genetic instructions (DNA) from my mom and my dad combined to form a unique individual – ME! The DNA I have will determine my eye color, my hair color, my height, and my natural abilities (such as math, art, and sports). I am going to grow fast! Look out, world!

FEBRUARY – 1 MONTH
I am now 10,000 times larger than I was a month ago (at conception), about the size of a grain of rice! My heart is formed and beating (at 22 days) and it is pumping blood through my blood vessels! My blood type may even be different from my mother’s. My placenta is forming, and it will nourish me until I am born. Pray for me as I continue to grow.
